The U-30BU features a maple body. Used with Ukeleles, maple provides a soft but pronounced tone, somewhat mellower than other tone woods.

Mahogany Neck With Maple Fretboard/Bridge

A mahogany neck is paired with the maple body for added resonance. The 12-fret fretboard and bridge are made from ebonized maple.

Geared Tuners

Mahalo's gold-pegged tuning machines feature guitar-style white buttons, providing solid tuning so you can strum away confidently.

Nubone Saddle

Graphtech's Nubone material is a great alternative to plastic saddles used in some ukes, delivering more volume, more tone, and more harmonics.
